Euro-BioImaging is starting Interim Operation

European life science researchers now have the possibility to use state-of-the-art imaging technologies, which they do not find at their home institutions or among their collaboration partners. All they need to do is to apply to Euro-BioImaging (EuBI) via the Interim Web Access Portal and visit one of the Euro-BioImaging Node Candidates (imaging facilities) to use their technology and profit from their expertise. 29 Node Candidates in 11 countries and at the EMBL host a range of novel imaging technologies via which scientists can study biological samples from protein to human size. Also LCAM in Amsterdam, the Netherlands is Node Candidate and opens its doors for external users (http://www.eurobioimaging-interim.eu/lcam.html).

This operation is part of the Euro-BioImaging interim activities, which are preparing the infrastructure for its full operation that is expected in 2017, after all legal requirements to become a European Research Infrastructure Consortium (EuBI-ERIC) will be finalized.
